Central-South Final Plan
Update:
Changes take effect Dec. 4
Metro Transit is restructuring bus service in the "Central-South" area of the region (south Minneapolis, Bloomington, Richfield, Edina and St. Paul south of I-94 and west of downtown). Phase I in south Minneapolis was launched in June. Phase II changes will take effect Dec. 4.
Changes will improve the reliability, speed and convenience of transit service. The plan also integrates buses with Hiawatha light-rail.
An original plan was revised as a result of customer comments at public meetings. The Metropolitan Council approved the final plan in June 2003.
