New 28th Avenue Station parking ramp is now open
We’re providing commuters who ride the Hiawatha Line more options to park their cars and hop on! Parking at the 28th Avenue Station Park & Ride lot has grown, thanks to a new five-level ramp that opened in late July.
Park for free at the new parking ramp and ride the smart way. The ramp is Metro Transit’s largest parking facility at 1,450 spaces, and it features elevators, security cameras, and an additional ticket machine and Go-To Card reader so you board faster.
We’ll celebrate the grand opening of the new facility on Monday, Aug. 11.
Some finishing work will continue on the ramp through fall.
