Take the train to the game
If you’re have tickets to the Vikings playoff game against Philadelphia on Jan. 4, getting there is easiest by train.
Park your car at one of nearly 2,800 free spaces near light-rail stations, then hop on! Parking is available at Fort Snelling, 28th Avenue and Lake Street/Midtown stations. Note: Mall of America is not a Park & Ride facility.
The new five-story ramp at 28th Avenue Station has 1,450 free parking spaces. In addition to covered parking, the ramp offers elevators, security cameras and an additional ticket machine and Go-To Card reader so you can board faster.
Buy an Event 6-Hour Pass for an easy return trip
When you’re at the rail station, buy an Event 6-Hour Pass from the ticket machine. When you're ready to come back, you won't have to wait in line to buy a return ticket – no waiting, just hop on!
Buy an Event 6-Hour Pass for $4 on weekdays, $3.50 on weekends.
